Hotel D. Filipa is one of the oldest hotels in the Algarve. Built back in the 50's, this 5 star hotel has recently been refurbished in all of its public areas, from the main exterior entrance, through the main lobby, sitting areas, bars and restaurants and 7 new suites - the Atlantic Suites, were built. As a starting point for the elaboration of this project a rigorous analysis was made of the relevant existing items in the hotel with historic value to be preserved, recuperated and/or highlighted, thus giving the motto for the interior design scheme.
